Blizzard Blizzcon 2010

...no, I don't have any information about it.

I actually came inquiring about it since my wonderful work computer is very limited in what I can view through the filter, and my hut-internet is brought in by draft horses and sled dogs, and can't view much beyond text.

When's it happening? Cost? Anything that I should bring with me as a must?

And who else is planning on going?

Deemo! I've missed you. Glad to see you post again.

I don't think there's been any word on Blizzcon '10 yet.

Yeah I've been watching sand dunes shift in the far reaches of Iraq.

I've also started to notice that it get's frightening cold here when the wind picks up (I think it spiked at around 23 degrees with wind chill last night). I'll leave you all with the scarring mental image of my nipples being hard enough to etch glass.

Think about that, and try to sleep tonight.

I'll be too busy finding a non-sticky place between my sheets.

I think its usually in August or so. I would expect movie news and maybe something animated DTV? Maybe Warcraft IV?

Based on an interview a while back, I feel mildly hopeful that, after SC2 is fully released, Blizz's RTS team starts working on WC4.

If that were the case, suffice to say.... Wooah.

Yeah, they'll probably do that; but consider we still have, at least, 6 years of SC2. They could even create a new team to start building the base.

As for announcements: they said they wouldn't repeat the "announce too soon" mistake, so don't expect any new Warcraft IV announcement until a couple of years from now on.

Great to have you back, man. Hope you don't have to get lost around there again.

Originally there was a post on the Las Vegas Convention Center's Website about Blizzcon being hosted there in august, but I think they pissed Blizz off and they decided to instead go back to Anaheim, where some hints have pointed towards another October Blizzcon in Anaheim. I say keep late august and late october free just in case.

It's good to be back on the internet, though sadly, I'm still stuck in Iraq until mid-summer. Soon though, I'll be able to retreat to the home front, in which busty cheerleaders and beergoggles prosper. /Lament

Anaheim was going to be my bet on it; not much of a fan of Vegas. Good to know the timeframe though. That'll give me plenty of time to enjoy some off moments with the wife, and plan up something to bring some of the folks I deployed with along. I promise, no drunken room-to-room clearing with shoulder-mounted murloc plushies.

Maybe.
